Using data
If you produce a product or publication from the data please read the limitations about the data and terms of use in our
disclaimer. In each case
we require a minimum of the following
- An acknowledgment such as Data provided by the National Oceanography Centre (Liverpool Bay Coastal Observatory) within the publication.
- If delivered via a web site, a link to the web site.
- An E-mail to webmaster@pol.ac.uk indicating the publication title, product description or URL.
Linking to the CO website
Links to CO web pages from external web sites are allowed. Please send us an E-mail to webmaster@pol.ac.uk to indicate you URLfor our records.
What you must not do
- Please do not pass on data to other parties.
Every user of data protected by the key symbol should register first, since the Irish Sea Obseratory
needs to justify its existence to funding bodies by criteria such as usage.
- You are not allowed to put the data directly on to a web site, publish it or pass it off as your
own data.
