Dolphins
During a recent survey of Liverpool Bay a pod of at least 20 Bottlenose dolphins were spotted between Hilbre Island and the entrance to the Mersey.

FerryBox
The FerryBox fitted to one of the Irish Sea ferries has been taken out of operation due to DFDS Seaways transferring the ship to another route.

The wave buoy in the Hilbre Channel has been re-deployed after battery replacement.

Marine radar (X-band)
The marine radar is now operational again. It is setup to record images every 30 minutes. We are using it to measure currents, waves and water depths.
