Validating POLCOMS with Smartbuoy data
Smartbuoy data is used for validating and testing the POLCOMS models. Smartbuoy is a fixed mooring which measures fluorescence, turbidity, PAR, salinity, sea water temperature and oxygen saturation. It is located in Liverpool Bay, near to the Liverpool Bar Light (Site A).
