March 2009 workshop
The workshop will be held from 09:00 11th of March to 18:00 12th of March 2009 at
Cosener's House, Abingdon, UK.
The workshop will be divided into 4 sesions over two days
Session 1:
Research:
Predicting the response of shelf seas to change
Session 2:
Management:
Water quality; coastal defense. Central / local goverment
Session 3:
Management:
Applied: Navigation, fishing, offshore construction, SAR
Session 4:
Public, education (schools & universities)
The format for each half day session will be two scene settings talks (one by an operator, the second by a stakeholder) followed by a break and two hours for shorter talks and discussions.
